As we head into the Matariki period, it’s time to get your dancing shoes on. The Winton Scottish Country Dance Club are hosting a dance at 1pm this Sunday, 22 June, at the senior citizens hall, 5 John St, Winton. It may be at the senior citizens hall, but make no mistake! All people are welcome to this family friendly affair. There will be afternoon tea to follow.

Keep your eye out for more events coming up throughout the winter period and into spring. Our member groups have a lot planned, particularly with the celebration of the Otago Scottish Heritage Council’s 100th anniversary in the later months of this year.
